PV is a collection of neighborhoods, not one party strip. These are the three areas most visitors search for — what to expect, typical budgets, and who each zone fits best.

The Romantic Zone — PV's real heart

Bohemian · Gay-friendly · Walkable

Ideal para: weekenders, couples, LGBT travelers

South of the Cuale River: cobblestone streets, the densest bar-and-restaurant cluster in the city, Playa Los Muertos at one end. Mexico's most established gay-friendly neighborhood — open, judgment-free atmosphere for everyone.

Nightlife runs 6pm happy hours to 5am club closings. Dinner, drinks, drag show, club — all four without calling an Uber.

English by default, many prices in USD. Come for fine dining and marina sunsets. Don't come to dance.

Prices 30–50% lower than the Romantic Zone. Smaller, less international nightlife — but genuine. Where people from PV actually go.
